I'm here in cuba now!

Hola! StrikerMan780 posting live from the Krystal Laguna resort in Cayo Coco, Cuba!

Flight landed safely, and I've been having fun. The weather is nice, and the scenery is amazing. I've been swimming at the beach today, was very fun, water was a bit cold, but got used to it quickly. The resort is beautiful, although, the food leaves something to desire.. The drinks though, are really good. I've been drinking pina coladas like nobody's business... had a few alcoholic ones... but they loaded too much rum in it and was way too strong... So, I've been getting them virgin for the rest of the time.

hey hey, sounds like you are having a blast. i would kill for warm weather right now. i just googled the resort you are at, lucky bastard xD. SMMP is very epic, i have a map for you when you return or i can upload after kunai details it and post the link here. i love the blood splatter effect on beta 3, makes each shot just that more brutal when it hits. cruelty tech is an insane map, the whole thing is just a pile of win. enjoy the much needed vacation bro.

Glad to hear you're having a blast. I've been working on Coop02 editing some things and making new areas. I see you had some experience with some alcoholic drinks... must've had one hell of a hangover though atleast you can relax. Enjoy you're vacation Strikerman we'll take care of things here

Sunburn is a fucking bitch... one of the not so nice things. Other than that I am fine. I got the opportunity to carve a Coconut to the shell. (Note that coconuts look extremely different than what you see in cartoons, etc. They are not brown, when they are on the tree they are very big, egg-shaped, and orange. The brown, flaky shell you see in the stores are actually the pit of the coconut, which is deep in the center.

I had the chance to take some tours, such as take a visit to the town of Moron(Pronounced Mow Rown, no Mow Rawn... xD, they take offence if you say the latter.. eg. Moron.) I had the chance to hold a baby crocodile, and a parrot as well. Had some fun chewing sugar cane as well. It is unbearably hot here sometimes, making me appreciate the cold weather from time to time back at home, but, some days, it had been extremely nice. But right now, It is bloody humid, and the air is as thick as molasses.

The scenery I came across during the tour was pretty cool...

Anyhow... I don't have much time.. Internet Use is 5 Pesos an hour... anyhow, Bye for now!

Yeh sunburn can be a bitch, kinda stops you from sleeping (unless it's not like the one i had in Spain ) But if you do have trouble sleeping, try using a fan to blow on you in the night, sure helped me !

Hey, thanks for the nice words. I'm just waiting in the Resort lobby to be picked up by the bus... It is going to take a long time, since the bus won't be here until 4:30, and it is 1:22 at the moment... So, it is fucking boring. I'll definitely be looking forward to coming home, been homesick for a while, and I want to recover from all the damn sunburn. Yay Canada! Home sweet home. Anyhow, nice to talk to you again, and I can't wait to see what kind of maps you got for me.

O.o.... Wow... Uneducated are we?

Cuba.. has always been known to be Warm. It's down SOUTH... WAAAY Down south. South of Florida. Therefore, Hot, even in the winter. And EXTREMELY HOT during the summer(People can die of heat stroke.)

.... I guess I can not expect any less... US's Education system when it comes to teaching about foreign countries is extremely poor. Watch the Rick Mercer report(Funny-ass show!) if you want to know what I mean, the episode when he is in US at Mt. Rushmore, making up a bunch of random farfectched stories about Canada, and everybody believed him and took it seriously. At my school, we also had an exchange student from United States for a while, and I loled... He said he expected to see snow and igloos, boy was he surprised. Not shitting either. There is also a video of a guy at the Canadian border with skis on the top of his van during the dead of summer in July, heading into Canada to go Skiing, thinking there would be snow just a few miles up from the border....
